I’M NOT SURE IF I WANT TO DO CROSSFIT. CAN I JUST DROP IN TO TRY OUT A CLASS?

If you have prior experience — at least three months — at another CrossFit affiliate, you may drop in to a class. (Just email us prior and arrive a few minutes early to sign your waiver!

For new athletes without prior CrossFit experience, we offer a free 1-in-1 introductory session to show you our facilities, introduce you to your program, and get a sense of what your fitness goals are. From there, all new athletes will go through a beginning class series called On-Ramp, three more private sessions in which we teach you the foundational movements of CrossFit in a 1-on-1 setting so that you are prepared for everything you will encounter in group classes!

We do this to instill proper technique and movement patterns from the start and to ensure healthy, injury-free workouts with us for a long, long time!

I HAVEN’T WORKED OUT IN A REALLY LONG TIME. WILL CROSSFIT BE TOO CHALLENGING FOR ME?

Absolutely not!  Everyone has to start somewhere and so many of us with successful CrossFit stories started from right where you are, with little or no experience! CrossFit is universally scalable to anyone’s ability. Our mission is to make CrossFit accessible to all ages, body types, athletic backgrounds, and fitness levels!

I’M VISITING SAUSALITO FROM ANOTHER CROSSFIT. CAN I DROP IN TO A CLASS WHEN I’M IN TOWN?

Absolutely, we love visiting CrossFitters! Just email us prior to let us know you are coming and arrive a few minutes early to pay the $25 drop-in fee and fill out a waiver.

I REALLY WANT TO STRENGTHEN MY “CORE.” WILL CROSSFIT HELP?

Yes! We know that a weak trunk and poorly stabilized spine is the single most significant limiting factor in all human movement and sports. To this end, our programming specifically addresses trunk or “core” strength via full-body, compound, functional movements like squats, pullups, sprints, and presses.

WILL LIFTING WEIGHTS GET ME BULKY?

We get this question a lot. Contrary to popular belief, lifting weights is an ESSENTIAL part of reaching our aesthetic and body composition goals. Most people following our regimen, in tandem with clean nutrition habits, will find only positive changes to their body composition, a.k.a. losing body fat while building lean muscle a.k.a, looking great naked.

DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS?

Yes, we offer men and women’s shower facilities for your use after workouts. We, however, do not provide towels or bath products so pack accordingly.

DO YOU GUYS PLAY MUSIC DURING CLASS?

It wouldn’t be CrossFit without some awesome tunes blasting. You’ll hear it all in here as we have a wide diversity of musical tastes: rock, hip hop, metal, EDM, country, pop, reggae — you name it!
